Center for Pervasive Healthcare

The Centre for Pervasive Healthcare (CfPH) is an interdisciplinary research centre dedicated to designing, developing, evaluating and understanding the usage of pervasive computer technologies for healthcare. The centre is composed of a multidisciplinary team of computer scientists, physicians, nurses, information and media scientists, industrial designers, engineers and ethnographers.

In our projects we facilitate innovation by close cooperation with companies and by rooting the processes in user-centered, experimental, participatory development strategies, also referred to as “User-Driven Innovation”. All of our projects have representatives from the clinical world (e.g. a hospital department), one or more private companies, and researchers.
